FAQs — Angel Cycle Works

What makes an ANGEL titanium bike different from other titanium bicycles?

ANGEL bicycles are designed and built entirely in Spain using high-grade titanium, advanced additive manufacturing and precision machining. Each frame is developed with a geometry tailored to how you ride, resulting in a bicycle that combines structural accuracy, long-distance comfort and durability. Unlike mass-produced titanium frames, every ANGEL is individually engineered and hand-finished.

How does the custom geometry process work?

We analyse your proportions, riding style, terrain preferences and performance goals. Using this data, we design a geometry that improves efficiency, stability and comfort. This made-to-measure approach ensures your titanium bicycle fits your riding position naturally, reducing fatigue and increasing control, whether you ride gravel, all-road or long-distance routes.

How long does it take to build a custom titanium bike?

Typical timelines are:

Made-to-measure frames: 8 – 10 weeks

Standard configurations: 6 – 8 weeks

These timelines include design, engineering, titanium fabrication, finishing and quality control carried out in Spain.

Are ANGEL bikes fully made in Spain?

Yes. From engineering to titanium fabrication and final hand-finishing, every ANGEL frame is manufactured in Spain. This includes additive manufacturing (3D-printed titanium components), CNC machining, welding and finishing.

Why choose a titanium bike over carbon or aluminum?

Titanium offers long-term structural stability, natural vibration absorption, corrosion resistance and a ride feel that remains consistent over decades. It does not fatigue like carbon or deform like aluminum. For gravel, all-road and endurance cycling, titanium provides a balance of comfort, responsiveness and lifespan unmatched by other materials.

What type of titanium does ANGEL use?

We work exclusively with high-grade titanium suitable for structural bicycle frames. This material offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, fatigue resistance and a timeless visual aesthetic that evolves beautifully with use.

Are ANGEL bikes 3D-printed?

Some structural parts of the frame are produced using additive manufacturing (3D printing in titanium). This allows extreme precision, organic structural shapes and improved stiffness-to-weight performance. The process is complemented by traditional craftsmanship and hand-finished details.

Do you offer gravel, all-road and endurance-specific designs?

Yes. ANGEL specialises in titanium bicycles for gravel, all-road and long-distance riding. Each model and geometry is developed to balance stability, power transfer, comfort and control in technical or mixed-surface environments.

How can I order a custom titanium bike from ANGEL?

You simply contact us through the website. We schedule a short call to understand your riding background, preferences and priorities. Then we create a complete configuration proposal with geometry, components and expected delivery time.

Do you ship titanium bicycles internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide using specialised carriers that handle high-value bicycles. The bike is delivered protected with reinforced packaging so it arrives ready to ride with minimal adjustments.

What warranty does ANGEL offer?

Every ANGEL titanium frame is covered by warranty. If anything arises, we provide detailed inspection, diagnosis and personalised resolution. Our titanium frames are engineered for long-term use, gravel stress and demanding terrain.

Does a titanium bike require special maintenance?

Titanium requires very little maintenance. A simple wash with mild soap and periodic bolt checks are usually sufficient. Titanium does not corrode, rust or degrade, even with intensive gravel use.

How long does a titanium bike last?

A well-designed titanium frame can last for decades. It maintains its structural integrity far longer than other materials and is highly resistant to impacts, scratches and environmental conditions.

Can I upgrade components in the future?

Yes. Titanium frames are highly compatible with modern drivetrains, wheels, cockpits and accessories. We offer ongoing guidance if you want to update or optimise your setup in the future.

Can I visit ANGEL Cycle Works in Spain?

Yes, visits to our workshop are available by appointment. It is an opportunity to see the titanium manufacturing process and understand the craftsmanship behind each frame.

Are ANGEL bikes suitable for bikepacking and long-distance adventures?

Absolutely. Titanium’s comfort, structural stability and resistance to fatigue make it ideal for gravel expeditions, ultra-distance routes and bikepacking setups.

Will a titanium bike absorb vibrations better than carbon?

Titanium naturally absorbs trail chatter and micro-vibrations thanks to its unique elastic properties. The ride feel is smoother and more consistent, especially over long distances or rough surfaces.

How does 3D-printed titanium improve performance?

Additive manufacturing allows us to design complex internal structures, redistribute forces and optimise stiffness where it is most effective. This results in a more precise, responsive and efficient frame.

What information do you need to design my bike?

Height, inseam, riding style, terrain, bike history, flexibility, preferred distances and priorities such as comfort, speed or versatility.
